APARTMENT IN DOCK

O Projektu

The softening and spatial clarity of the Prague DOCK apartment were achieved through natural materials, earthy tones, and expressive textures.

The renovation of this few-years-old apartment in a newly built complex required no major structural alterations. The design focused primarily on improving the spatial flow and adapting the interior to the needs of its new residents. The most significant transformation took place in the room adjoining the main bedroom, which was converted into a spacious walk-in wardrobe seamlessly extending the master suite. Minor adjustments were also made to the bathrooms. The interior is conceived with simplicity, emphasizing natural materials and their contrasting textures. Dark wood veneer serves as a unifying base throughout the apartment, providing a neutral backdrop for the use of stone and glass. These materials appear in various forms across the space – from floors and the kitchen to bathrooms and bespoke furniture pieces. The overall color palette remains muted and earthy, enhancing the apartment’s sense of calm and intimacy.
